During six days, 72 films competed in the Competition Programme of Nordisk Panorama 5 Cities Film Festival 2009 which showcased the best new short films and documentaries from the five Nordic countries. Many of them were screened to an international audience for the first time. At Nordisk Panorama's Gala Awards Ceremony yesterday evening, films from Denmark and Sweden dominated the stage.
Best Nordic Short Film
The Award for Best Nordic Short Film went to the Icelandic director Rúnar Rúnarsson which was competing for Denmark with his film Anna.
